Content: 

Methods of estimating, measurements, taking out quantities, typical estimates for buildings, and Civil Engineering works, Specifications for all types of building items.Analysis of rates, data for various building items, Earthwork calculations. Introduction to Departmental procedures, tender, contracts, arbitration, valuation of buildings.

Course Outcomes: 1. Shall be able to work out the quantities of various items of work, by both Long walls and Short walls method and method of centerline. 2. Able to write detailed specifications for important items of works. 3. To perform rate analysis for various items of works. 4. Able to value land and property of Civil Engineering projects.
